Why is Go-Drive running these workshops?

As from Monday 23rd January 2012, the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) will no longer be publishing any questions relating to driving theory.  This decision has been made to avoid learner drivers simply memorising the answers to pass the theory test.  It is the agency's intention for learner driver to understand and retain essential driving theory to help them pass their tests and remain safe, responsible drivers for life.

Is theory not covered in normal driving lesson?

Yes it is, all Go-Drive students have guidance throughout their lessons on driving theory, however, by attending this workshop you will save using 8 hours of your driving lessons to cover driving theory, this gives you more time driving on the road and can save you £192 in driving lesson fees, plus gives you 8 hours of professional theory tuition for under £9 per hour!!!

Who can attend the workshop?

Anyone!!  You may be currently learning to drive with another instructor or school, you may not yet be 17, you may have held your full licence for many years.  Go-Drive students will be eligible for exclusive discounts on this and future courses.

What subjects are covered?

The workshop will cover the main categories of the driving theory test.  Subjects are listed above.  There will be the opportunity to partake in online tests throughout the workshop (bringing your own laptop will be required).  Some smaller categories will be given as home learning projects along with full mock tests.  You will be given all materials and exclusive access to an online theory test website to complete these categories.  You will also be given contact details for your tutor so you can continue to be supported while you complete the home learning projects and upto the day you pass your theory test.

What is the theory test pass guarantee?

Attending the workshop will provide you with a deep knowledge and understanding of driving theory.  If, after attending the workshop and completing the required home learning projects and passing the required mock tests, you take and fail the theory questions section of the theory test, Go-Drive will pay for your next attempt at the theory test.  This guarantee does not cover the hazard perception part of the theory test unless you have attended the Hazard Perception Workshop before taking your theory test. 

Do I have to learn with Go-Drive?
